About William Beck

William Beck was born near the shores of Lake Erie, in Jefferson Ohio. His parents moved to Bradenton, Florida, where he spent a good deal of his life. It was there Beck developed his love for the ocean and sailing.

The author has an intriguing list of interests. Beck’s affinity for the sea inspired him to become a PADI certified scuba diver and underwater photographer. His zeal for this endeavor has led him to various locations and adventures around the globe. His involvement in the martial arts has spanned more than thirty years, holding the rank of Sho Dan, in Go Ju style karate. William Beck is also an accomplished pistol marksman, but more importantly a United States Army veteran. Personal experiences garnered from his time in the military led him to the medical field. For more than three decades, Beck’s career has revolved around the critical care arena. In addition to this, he serves as an expert witness in medical legal issues. William Beck has set the bar for his latest goal – aspiring pilot.

William Beck’s life accomplishments have aided greatly in his ability to write, dynamically influencing his style. Possessing the talent to weave intriguing entanglements, Beck’s plots serve up seemingly realistic scenarios within the pages of his first three novels – H.A.A.R.P.’S FURY, RED 7CARIBBEAN AGENDA, and CROSSCURRENTS. The author’s efforts to promote these plausible thrillers have included numerous book signings in various states, as well as U.S. military bases. Beck enjoys appearing on television and radio to promote his Bryson McGann novels.

Polar Meltdown, William Beck’s fifth Bryson McGann novel is awaiting publishing. The second Jess Colton novel, The Edessa Image, is currently being written.

William Beck resides in North Carolina with his wife Rebecca. When the author is not writing, he can often be sighted in Florida or New England and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
